Aluminium rivets
Aluminium rivets are used for riveting clutch discs. The advantage of this type of rivets is that in the event of wear of the disc, when it comes into contact with the pressure surface, i.e. the friction partner, aluminium rivets do not destroy the other element. This gives greater operating safety. However, aluminium rivets have the disadvantage that they become oxidised and are therefore less durable than steel rivets. Aluminium rivets have a very important advantage because one rivet can be used to connect three elements, in which case we can attach the clutch lining to the plate and to the lining located on the other side with a single rivet.
